Eine Auflistung der Luegen von Trump

Die New York Times hat die Lügen von Donald Trump aufgelistet Der Spiegel:
Er sei gegen den Einsatz der US-Armee im Irak gewesen, bei keiner Inauguration sei die Menschenmenge grösser gewesen als bei seiner, Millionen illegal abgegebener Wahlzettel hätten ihn bei der Präsidentenwahl die tatsächliche Stimmenmehrheit gekostet - schon kurz nach seiner Amtsübernahme behauptete er in seinen Tweets nachweisbar die Unwahrheit. In den ersten zehn Monaten seines Präsidentendaseins summierte sich das auf 103 Lügen, wie die "New York Times" (NYT) auflistet. Zum ersten Mal hatte die Zeitung die Lügen bereits im Sommer gesammelt, nun gibt es eine Neuauflage: Weil es oft hiess, die Zahl würde bei anderen US-Präsidenten vermutlich ebenso hoch ausfallen, untersuchten die NYT-Faktenchecker auch die Aussagen seines Vorgängers Barack Obama auf deren Wahrheitsgehalt. Das Ergebnis: Trump: 103 Lügen, Obama: 18. Noch deutlicher wird die Kluft zwischen dem Republikaner und dem Demokraten, wenn man bedenkt, dass bei Obama die gesamte Amtszeit untersucht wurde - bei Trump stammen die Lügen aus nicht einmal einem Jahr Amtszeit. Wären noch Aussagen dazu genommen worden, die nicht ausdrücklich falsch, aber immerhin missverständlich oder irreführend waren, hätte es für Trump noch viel schlechter ausgesehen, schreibt die NYT. Zudem habe Obama - genau wie sein Vorgänger George W. Bush - zumindest aufgehört, eine Lüge zu wiederholen, wenn diese entlarvt wurde. Trump hingegen greife dann die Menschen an, die ihn der Lüge bezichtigten. Eine Auswahl der trumpschen Unwahrheiten laut NYT: Der Präsident twitterte am 21. Januar 2017: "Ein Reporter des Time-Magazins - ich war 14 oder 15 Mal auf dem Cover. Ich glaube, wir haben den absoluten Rekord in der Geschichte des Time-Magazins." Tatsächlich war Trump insgesamt elf Mal auf dem Cover, Richard Nixon hingegen 55 Mal. Vier Tage später schrieb er: "Schau, als Präsident Obama vor zwei Wochen da [Chicago, Anm. d. Red.] war, hat er eine Rede gehalten, eine sehr nette Rede. Zwei Menschen wurden erschossen, während er seine Rede gehalten hat. Das darf nicht passieren." Tatsächlich wurde in Chicago an diesem Tag niemand erschossen. (Die komplette Liste finden Sie hier.) Obama log der NYT-Liste zufolge vor allem, wenn es um die Errungenschaften seiner Regierung ging. Am 24. Februar 2009 behauptete er: "Wir importieren heute mehr Öl als je zuvor." Tatsächlich gab es die meisten Ölimporte im Jahr 2005. "Amerikanische Hersteller schaffen zum ersten Mal seit 1990 wieder Jobs", sagte Obama am 17. Februar 2012. Doch in den Neunzigerjahren gab es bereits neue Arbeitsstellen in dem Sektor.

FEB. 4 "After being forced to apologize for its bad and inaccurate coverage of me after winning the election, the FAKE NEWS is still lost!" (It never apologized.) FEB. 5 "We had 109 people out of hundreds of thousands of travelers and all we did was vet those people very, very carefully." (About 60,000 people were affected.) (The mayor was specifically talking about the enlarged police presence on the streets.)
